Manufacturing Engineer- all shift

Manufacturing Engineer

Responsible for improving pretreatment product quality, reducing the scrap rate in the production process, enhancing output.

Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.

Develop, implement, and optimize production workflows, layouts, and standard work.

Support new equipment installation and lead process validation.

Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, and Production teams to resolve issues.

Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as cycle time, yield, and downtime.

Support the launch of new automotive glass products and ensure smooth transition into mass production.

Implement Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma).

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.

Ability to read, understand and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to speak effectively and interact with other team members, engineers, leadership, and customers.

The employee is regularly required to stand for long periods. Duties include turning at the waist, reaching, bending, squatting and lifting up to 50 pounds. Ability to pass static strength requirements (grip). The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Safety requirements for this position are safety glasses, hearing protection and steel-toed work boots.

Mathematical skills, reasoning ability, and knowledge of manufacturing software.

Competent in solving difficult problems in production; familiar with production management knowledge and ability; competent in leading, communication, coordination, and organizational skills; skilled in coating technology, enhancing, and training subordinates.

Occasionally exposed to extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Safety requirements for this position are safety glasses and steel-toed work boots.

1st shift: 6:30am - 3:00pm 2nd shift: 2:30pm - 11:00pm 3rd shift: 10:30pm - 7:00 am
