Into Plane Fuel Accounting Clerk

Swissport Fueling Inc, located at the PHX Airport has an exciting administrative opportunity available for immediate employment. The Into plane Fuel Accounting Clerk will work closely with the team to ensure accurate fuel accounting for the airline's customers and fuel suppliers. Responsibilities to include processing into plane issues, meter reconciliation, and inventories related to fuel accounting operations. Must follow A4A Spec 123 accounting standards for fuels accounting. The expected pay rate is $25/hour. Your activities will include:

• Entering accurate fuel accounting transactions in Varec Fuels Manager
• Reconciling meter and inventory variances to ensure no missing or inaccurate transactions
• Communicating with customers, fuel facility operator, and other departments to ensure accurate fuel accounting and billing
• Ordering uniforms, office, and janitorial supplies
• Performing employee badging as appropriate with local airport procedures
• Setting up/maintaining accounting files, records, and tracking spreadsheets as needed
• Processing accounts payable invoices
• Assisting with end of month closeout and reporting
• Performing other duties as requested by Manager/Supervisor

Your profile:

• Minimum of two years administrative and/or accounting experience is preferred
• Minimum of one year of experience with fuel accounting is preferred, but not required
• High School diploma or equivalent is required
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point is required
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
• Must pass an FBI background check per airport requirement
• Must have above average math skills
• Able to multitask
• Must be available for weekend work
• Able to adjust schedule to be available for month end closeouts (usually performed on the 1st business of every month)
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Have professional phone & email etiquette
• Self-driven and highly motivated
• Organized
