Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Overview SHIFT: FT Nights. The role requires at least 1 year of emergency department experience as a nurse. Unit Nursing Skills Assessment Comprehensive Care Critical Thinking Unit Culture Great Teamwork Qualifications Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred. Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license. Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient‑care policies. Education: The RN must have graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Exceptions: Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of acute‑care experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
