Azure Solution Architect Role: Azure Solution Architect Location: 100% Remote Type: W2 Job Description: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant IT field of study from an accredited college or university. Three years of experience with Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure API Management, and integration with Azure Active Directory B2C. Eight years of experience in application design, development and support Five years of experience with C# and.NET MVC5, WebAPI, JQuery and object-oriented design. One (1) year of which should include mentoring and/or leadership in a technical field. Six additional months of relevant full-time work experience may substitute for 15 semester hours of required education, up to four years. Master’s degree from an accredited college or university may substitute for one year of the required experience. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of principles, practices, and techniques used in systems architecture, design and analysis. Knowledge of software development best practices. Excellent analytical and organization skills. Ability to analyze systems and procedures; to write and revise standards and procedures; to handle multiple projects; to communicate effectively; and to plan, assign, and/or supervise the work of others. Ability to recognize, analyze and resolve complex technical issues. Ability to take initiative, work independently and make decisions using sound judgement, analytical thinking and sound reasoning. Ability to apply creative solutions when problem solving while keeping management informed of risks and critical issues. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationship with coworkers, and to work cooperatively and effectively in a team environment. Ability to interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner at all times and to handle conflict appropriately. Skill in using personal computers, databases, and general office software, including Microsoft word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel. Ability to communicate with customers to determine technical needs and translate customer requirements into application designs and systems requirements. Ability to plan, organize, and effectively manage and complete multiple priorities and projects concurrently. Ability to communicate complex information in a in a clear, organized, concise, professional, and courteous way with individuals from diverse social, ethnic, economic, and cultural backgrounds. Ability to meet periodic, milestone, and final deadlines; and to keep management abreast of issues. Ability to adhere to the agency's internal management policies and procedures. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree or above with major college course work in computer science, information technology or related field. Experience building end-to-end data pipeline using Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure API Management, Cosmos DB, and integration with Azure Active Directory B2C. Ten years of experience in application design, development and support Eight years of experience with C# and.NET MVC5, WebAPI, JQuery and object-oriented design. Experience in an agile SDLC environment. Experience in managing complex information systems. My3Tech Inc
