Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.Provides quality and technically relevant instruction in the assigned program. Follows departmental guidelines, policies, procedures and relevant regulations.Key responsibilities include providing quality and technically relevant instruction of course curriculum, teaching students learning strategies, conducting teaching and instructional activities using educational equipment, providing continual feedback and various methods of assessment measurement, assessing and recording grading for all homework assignments, quizzes, and tests, completing paperwork associated with classroom and project management, participating in marketing of courses to prospective students, assisting with course and/or program evaluation and continuous improvement, maintaining acceptable program quality and satisfaction scores, keeping Program Manager informed of any curriculum or student code of conduct issues, and recording attendance in learning management system.Educational requirements include a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution of higher education. Other required qualifications include being a RPh or PharmD and having five (5) years working in a retail, commercial, hospital, or compounding pharmacy.Teaching experience is preferred.Able to handle multiple tasks or projects at one time meeting assigned deadlines. Able to motivate students to actively participate in all aspects of the educational process. Able to review syllabus and learning outcomes the first night of class. Able to provide sufficient time for students to complete course evaluations. Do not release class early. Do not leave class unattended. Able to respond to student inquiries in a timely manner. Must be comfortable with teaching in classroom and on a distance-learning platform. Be familiar with all emergency procedures posted in the classroom. Must hold expert knowledge in pharmacy math & calculations drug names & abbreviations, and pharmacy settings. Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem solving, independent judgment, organization, communication (verbal and written), time management, project management and presentation skills. Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e., Microsoft Office suite). Strong attention to detail and follow up skills.
