Machine Operator - Capping/Flanger/Sewing
We are seeking a Machine Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will operate industrial sewing machines to assemble and sew fabric components while maintaining quality and production standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate industrial sewing and flanging machines safely and efficiently.
- Sew fabric components according to specifications and work instructions.
- Inspect materials and finished products for quality and accuracy.
- Maintain stitch quality, alignment, and production standards.
- Report equipment issues or material defects.
- Perform basic machine maintenance and keep work areas clean.
- Follow all safety and quality procedures.
- Work collaboratively to meet daily production goals.
Qualifications
- Previous industrial sewing machine experience preferred.
- Manufacturing or production experience preferred.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Basic measuring and math skills.
- Reliable attendance and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, sit, and perform repetitive hand movements throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 25-50 lbs as needed.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
