In this critical role, you will ensure our automotive trim products meet or exceed internal and customer quality standards, while driving root cause analysis, supporting issue resolution, and fostering operational excellence across the manufacturing process.What you Will do in Your RoleDevelop and implement quality control systems to ensure compliance with customer specifications, regulatory requirements, and IATF 16949 standardsLead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventative actions (RCA/CAPA) to address quality issues and prevent recurrenceCollaborate with cross-functional teams- including production, engineering, and design - to integrate quality standards and prevent recurrenceConduct audits and inspections to verify compliance with internal procedures, customer requirements, and industry standardsAnalyze quality data (e.g., SPC, capability studies) to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiativesPrepare and maintain essential quality documentation, including control plans, inspection records, and performance metricsTrain and mentor team members on quality procedures, inspection methods, and best practices to ensure consistency and complianceServe as the primary customer liaison for quality issues, coordinating containment, root cause analysis, and corrective actions using OEM-specific tools and reporting systems (e.g., 8D reports, customer portals)Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)Experience in quality engineering in the manufacturing industryProblem‑solving skills and ability to conduct thorough root cause analysis using 5‑Why, Fishboan (Ishikawa), or 8D methodologiesWhat Will Put You AheadBachelor's degree in engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related technical fieldData analysis and quality methodologies, including Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and statistical process control (SPC)IATF 16949, ISO9004 and customer specific quality standards application experienceAbout the CompanyWe are a fast‑growing B2B company with a strong internal culture that values respect for others, diversity, serving a greater purpose, and passionate creativity.
