Warehouse Manager

Schedule Monday – Friday, 6:00am – 3:00pm Responsibilities Oversee daily warehouse operations including shipping and receiving, purchasing, product delivery, budgeting, inventory control, warehouse safety, housekeeping, and supervision of warehouse staff. Direction, coordination, and evaluation of warehouse employees, including interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning, and directing work. Appraise performance, reward and discipline employees, address complaints, and resolve problems. Develop and implement improved methods of material handling, stock control, and packaging to promote efficiency, service, and cost reduction. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Three to five years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Valid driver’s license. Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification. Product and application knowledge, electrical product material handling experience, and background in wholesale electrical distribution strongly recommended. Physical Demands Often standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing, stooping; occasional sitting; talking/hearing. Continuous lifting and carrying 1–20lbs. Frequent lifting and carrying 21–50lbs. Occasional lifting and carrying 51–100lbs; assistance of a buddy‑lift or mechanical device advised. Vision Requirements Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less); distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more); peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up, down, left or right while eyes are fixed on a given point); depth perception (three‑dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships).
