Summary

Department: Respiratory Intermediate Care

Shift timings: 07:00 - 19:30 Monday to Friday 3days/12 hours


Per Week: 36 Hours

36 bed -private rooms Respiratory step down, Medical/Surgical Unit


EMR- CERNER Every other Weekend required

Roles & Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

QUALIFICATIONS

• BLS and ACLS
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• The ability to stand for extended periods.
• Strong technical skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Passionate about patient care
• Requires a minimum of three years of current RN Med/Surg experience.
• Graduate from a fully accredited RN program
• Active unencumbered RN Kansas state license
• One year of Cerner experience

Requirements
• COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.
