Our Performance Center in Carson, CA is the Engineered Products Group site for our Human Machine Interface, Motion Control Device, and Radio Frequency (RF) product lines. Job SummaryDesign and develop mechanical components, parts, and assemblies using SolidWorks.Create detailed 3D CAD models, 2D drawings, and engineering documentation.Perform tolerance stack-ups, fit and clearance analysis, and basic design calculations.Design components for manufacturability, assembly, serviceability, and cost optimization.Review and modify existing designs to improve performance, reliability, and manufacturability.Collaborate with manufacturing, tooling, quality, materials, and analysis teams throughout the product development process.Support prototype development, testing, validation, and production release.Participate in design reviews and resolve technical issues related to mechanical components.Manage engineering changes and maintain accurate product design data and documentation.Ensure designs comply with applicable industry standards, company procedures, and customer requirements.Maintain weekly progress reporting (Project Management and project timesheet)Support facility and corporate strategic goalsAdhere to General Requirements of Team MembersPerform other assignments as requiredRequired Skills and QualificationsGood knowledge of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and engineering drawing standards.Ability to interpret engineering specifications and technical drawings.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Good communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.Basic knowledge of engineering concepts and principles of physics Abilities listed in General Requirements of Team MembersPreferred QualificationsUnderstanding of manufacturing processes such as machining, sheet metal, casting, forging, injection molding, or fabrication.Good knowledge of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and engineering drawing standards.Required Experience and EducationBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.0-2 Years experience in mechanical product/component design and development.Base Compensation: USD 95,000.00 - 115,000.00 Paid SalariedEqual Opportunity Employer Veterans/Disabled23301 S.
