This 80-bed community hospital is part of the Ardent Health systemResponsibilities include providing direct patient care, assisting with day-to-day management of Food and Nutrition Services, providing training and education to department staff and healthcare professionals, and serve in a leadership role on the FNS teamAbout the jobYou’ll oversee daily nutrition services, drive program excellence, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care. In this position, you’ll ensure regulatory compliance, manage clinical operations, and support both team development and client satisfaction while making a meaningful impact on health outcomes.Accountable for managing people, setting direction and deploying resources; typically is responsible for performance evaluation, pay reviews and hire/fire decisions. Results are primarily achieved through the work of others and typically depend on the manager's ability to influence and negotiate with parts of the organization. Accountable for business, functional or operational areas, processes or programs, which may include dotted-line or matrixed management.Pay Range: $70975  - $91850 What’s in it for youLead daily clinical nutrition operations for a large account, system, or multiple contracts, overseeing both non-exempt and entry-level professional staff.Ensure high levels of customer and client satisfaction by directing program execution and maintaining strong relationships.Implement operating standards, manage budgets, and drive quality improvement initiatives across departments.Promote best practices by staying current with nutrition research, trends, policies, and certifications.Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Sodexo and client policies.Support business growth by contributing to new service development and participating in strategic initiatives or special projects.What you’ll bring Leadership experience in managing daily clinical nutrition operations and guiding teams to meet performance, budgetary, and patient care goals.Relationship-building skills to foster client satisfaction and effective collaboration across departments.Proven track record in implementing and sustaining quality improvement initiatives that enhance clinical outcomes.In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and accreditation standards, with a commitment to full compliance.Strategic mindset with the ability to support program development, drive innovation, and communicate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.RequirementsEducation Requirement:Master’s degree in nutrition, dietetics, or related field with required coursework and supervised practice per ACEND guidelinesOR, for those eligible prior to 1/1/2024: Bachelor’s degree meeting ACEND requirements.Management Experience: 1-2 yearsRelated Experience: 1-3 yearsCredentials Requirement:Meets eligibility for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) via CDR and will become registered within 120 days of hireMust meet state licensure/certification requirements at time of hire where applicable.What we offerCompensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience.
