Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in a healthcare facility located in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This role involves providing specialized care to a diverse patient population in a busy NICU environment. The position requires a dedicated RN capable of managing stable feeders and growers as well as critically ill level 3 patients, with schedule flexibility to optimize patient care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days with weekend rotation, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Indiana RN licensure, ACLS, BLS, NRP, STABLE certifications; NICU level 3 experience with 2 years' experience; Cerner EMR proficiency
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified
• Float: Float rotation may be required to assist in other units; does not take assignments in other units unless needed
• Additional Information:
  • Position duration: 13 weeks with the possibility of extension
  • Number of beds in unit: 40
  • Patient ratio: 1:1 to 1:3
  • Approved orientation includes two 12-hour shifts
  • Scrub color: Navy blue
  • Travelers must attach required license and certifications; submission must include driver's license and matching permanent home address
  • Travelers must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
