Sales Representative/Key Account Manager

Prairie Farms Dairy is seeking an experienced full-time Sales Representative/Key Account Manager to join our team. We're looking for someone with a strong sales background and proven track record. Ideally located in the Eastern Twin Cities or Western WI, you will be accountable for existing business in multiple trade channels, as well as bringing in new business. Candidate should have at least 5 years of experience selling, preferably in the food and beverage industry, and should have experience selling at the buyer's desk as well as in the field. Candidates with dairy sales experience will be especially preferable.

Duties to include:

• Directly leads one or more customer relationships and oversees business in a specific territory
• Responsible for new item and seasonal authorizations and store level execution
• Ensures shelf execution and pricing is within retail pricing architecture
• Communicates sold in activity to cross functional team to ensure flawless execution
• Manages trade spend, executions of ads, promotions, and marketing plans
• Creates and presents customer business reviews and sales presentations
• Accountable for annual volume margin targets by customer and chain
• Supports other sales and cross functional team members for success and growth

Job Requirements:

• 5+ years CPG Category Management or Sales experience
• Demonstrated increasing responsibility in sales management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Must be able to work cross functionally as a member of one team
• History of customer P&L management
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects (categories)
• Excellent written & oral communication skills
• Dairy Industry experience ideal
• 4 year degree or equivalent work experience
• Travel expectations some overnight travel may be expected
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screens (including drug, background, and criminal checks)
