About the Role Our client, a forward-thinking educational technology company, is seeking a talented and innovative Remote Early Childhood Curriculum Developer. This fully remote position requires a creative professional dedicated to designing engaging and effective online learning experiences for young children (ages 3-6). You will be instrumental in developing a comprehensive digital curriculum that aligns with early learning standards, focusing on play-based learning, cognitive development, and foundational literacy and numeracy skills. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of child development, instructional design principles, and experience in creating digital educational content. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement a comprehensive digital curriculum for early childhood education (ages 3-6). Create engaging learning activities, lesson plans, and educational materials suitable for an online platform. Ensure curriculum content aligns with national early learning standards and best practices in child development. Collaborate with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and multimedia specialists to create rich content. Develop assessment strategies to track children's progress within the digital environment. Research and integrate innovative teaching methodologies and technologies into the curriculum. Write clear, concise, and age-appropriate content for educational modules and user guides. Review and revise existing curriculum materials for accuracy, relevance, and engagement. Ensure all digital content is accessible and user-friendly for children, parents, and educators. Stay current with trends and research in early childhood education and ed-tech. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Curriculum Development, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus. Minimum of 5 years of experience in curriculum design, specifically for early childhood education. Proven experience in developing digital or online learning content. Strong understanding of child development theories and pedagogy for ages 3-6. Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills. Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital content creation tools. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines. Creative thinker with a passion for early childhood education and technology. Experience with educational game design or interactive learning modules is advantageous. Must have a reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace for remote work.
