Job Summary: Join our dedicated team as a Regional Dental Specialist, traveling to various correctional facilities to provide advanced dental care for federal inmates. This role is essential in ensuring that inmates receive top-quality dental services while maintaining the security and integrity of the facilities. Key Responsibilities: Deliver complex dental procedures such as exodontia, biopsies, and pre-prosthetic surgery in correctional facilities as requested by local institutions. Work under the guidance of the Regional Dental Consultant to provide specialized care. Ensure compliance with current dental practices and protocol when dealing with inmate care. Refer complicated cases to external consultants or specialists when necessary. Offer timely support and care to inmates in the absence of the Chief Dental Officer or other dental staff. Assist understaffed dental programs and provide advanced surgical care in a clinical setting as necessary.
