What You'll Do First point of contact in the yard - directs customers and deliveries Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and guidelines Champion a strong culture of safety throughout all warehouse operations Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals Demonstrate dependability through consistent attendance and timely completion of work Perform daily housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized warehouse Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers Use warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP) to complete daily tasks Keep track of ticketed materials, properly identify vehicles and persons, and obtain required legal documentation of customers Assess weigh materials inbound and outbound into process area, and price tickets Accurate identification of material to assign correct value Provide customer service, ensure customers specs and contract requirements are fulfilled Accurate record keeping of contracts and deliveries Assess by grade accurate weight of material orders and issue supplies for visitors and customers entering the yard Walk up customer service: driver's license or accurate documentation & back-up for materials sold What You'll Need Strong computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office products At least 2 years of experience in a storeroom or warehouse environment Understanding of inventory control systems, policies, and procedures Ability and willingness to learn all aspects of storeroom operations Your Education High School Diploma or GED required We are CMC, a Fortune 500 company at the leading edge of our industry.
