Siter-Neubauer & Associates is seeking an experienced Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) to support a federal healthcare facility in Santa Fe, New Mexico . This is an excellent opportunity to work in a mission-driven environment providing quality dental care to Native American communities, with the potential for a long-term contract extension.

Job Summary

The Certified Dental Assistant will provide chairside support to dentists while assisting with patient care, clinical procedures, and daily dental clinic operations in a federal healthcare setting. Candidates may also rotate to satellite clinics in Española and Cochiti, NM, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during general and specialty dental procedures.
• Prepare patients, operatories, and instruments for treatment.
• Take digital dental radiographs and document patient care in Dentrix.
• Clean, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Maintain inventory and ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards.

Schedule

• Monday – Friday
• 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• 1-year contract. Potential for up to a 4-year extension

Minimum Qualifications / Experience:

Candidates must meet all of the following:

• DANB Certified Dental Assistant (CDA)
• Graduate of a CODA-accredited Dental Assistant program
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum 24 months of dental assisting experience
• Experience using Dentrix for charting and clinical documentation
• Experience assisting with restorative, oral surgery, endodontic, and periodontal procedures
• Experience taking digital intraoral and extraoral radiographs
