Our well-established, patient-focused dental practice in Old Town Alexandria is looking for a friendly, motivated, and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team full-time! What You’ll Do: As a valued member of our clinical team, you will: Assist the doctor in all aspects of general dentistry. Obtain diagnostic records (iTero scans, x-rays, photos, impressions). Fabricate Essex retainers and study models. Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms. Greet and prepare patients for treatment, ensuring a comfortable experience. Record medical and dental histories and vital signs. Assist during examinations and procedures. Provide post-operative instructions. Maintain accurate patient records. Support inventory management and overall office efficiency. Contribute to patient satisfaction and help the office achieve its goals. What We’re Looking For: Available Friday, Saturday, and Sunday as needed. 1–2 years of dental assisting experience (general dentistry preferred). X-ray certification required. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Positive attitude and strong work ethic. Case presentation skills are a plus.
