Assembler 2

Assembler 2 ensures that all products meet quality and safety standards. This role requires strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The ideal candidate has prior assembly experience, follows standards procedures with minimal supervision, and actively contributes to continuous improvement efforts. Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements. Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies. Qualifications & Experience: Education: High School Diploma. Experience: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers and decimals. Skills: Blueprint reading – Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions. Tool proficiency – Skilled with hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, and basic machinery. Measurement skills – Use of calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure precision. Meet daily production targets. Maintain consistent speed and accuracy. Good time management. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Personal Attributes: Notices small defects or inconsistencies. Follows specifications exactly. Maintains accuracy under production pressure. Physical Requirements & Work Environment: Stand for extended periods (often 8–12-hour shifts). Walk between workstations or production areas. Bend, stoop, kneel, or crouch as needed. Lift and carry materials (commonly 25–50 lbs.) Push/pull carts or equipment. Handle small parts with precision. Ability to use hand and power tools repeatedly. Perform repetitive assembly tasks. Maintain consistent pace throughout shift.
