An independent, community-driven health system in Northern Arkansas is adding a BC/BE Gastroenterologist for a full-time, permanent, and employed position. The incoming physician will join two other hospital-employed GIs and 4 APRNs in the beautiful Ozark Mountains of north-central Arkansas!
Opportunity Details
- 650K base/40K Commencement/up to 10K relocation
- Stipend available for fellows
- 27 days of PTO plus 5 days of CME
- 11-county service area throughout North Central Arkansas and South Central Missouri
- Shared call1:4 weekends
- Traditional inpatient and outpatient setting
- Clinic is located just behind the hospital campus, within walking distance
- Anesthesia Coverage
- GI Lab has four procedure rooms, and Outpatient Surgery Center has 2
- Avg 28 patients a day in GI Lab
- General Surgery coverage - 4 FTE and 1 PTE
- One of the best nursing units and nursing leaders! Excellent team
- Not-for-profit 501(c)(3) corporation in a rural setting - qualifies for state-sponsored loan programs!
Community/Location
Northern Arkansas, bordering Missouri. Known as the Twin Lakes Area, it is bordered by two of Arkansas' largest lakes, Bull Shoals Lake and Norfork Lake. This is an outdoor enthusiast?s dream with the serene crystal clear waters of the White, North Fork, and Buffalo National Rivers. This community is a quick 2 hour drive to a regional airport in Springfield MO, with direct flights to other major airports like New York. It also offers award-winning school districts, making this the perfect place to raise a family!
