Receiving ManagerMitchell Companies is looking for an experienced Receiving Manager to lead our warehouse receiving operations. This position is responsible for overseeing the receiving team and ensuring incoming shipments are unloaded, inspected, verified, and processed accurately and efficiently.The ideal candidate is a strong leader with warehouse or receiving experience who can manage a team, maintain high standards for accuracy and safety, and work effectively with vendors, carriers, purchasing, and warehouse leadership.Why Join Mitchell?Base salary of $59,000 annuallyBonus opportunity of up to $6,000 annuallyMonday–Friday scheduleConsistent daytime scheduleOpportunity to lead and develop a receiving teamKey leadership role within warehouse operationsOpportunity to improve receiving processes and operational efficiencyStable, year-round employmentBenefits and additional opportunities available based on company eligibilityWhat You'll DoSupervise and coordinate the daily activities of Warehouse Receivers and receiving associatesManage staffing, scheduling, and workload assignments based on incoming shipmentsEnsure incoming shipments are unloaded and verified against purchase orders, packing slips, and bills of ladingOversee the inspection of products for damage, defects, shortages, and overagesWork with vendors, carriers, purchasing, and warehouse leadership to resolve receiving discrepanciesTrain, coach, and support receiving employees to ensure accurate counting, labeling, tagging, and processing of productsMonitor the accuracy and timeliness of inventory and warehouse management system (WMS) data entryDirect the sorting, staging, and put-away of received productsEnsure products are properly placed in designated storage areas and backstock is replenished efficientlyEnforce safety policies and OSHA requirements related to warehouse and equipment operationsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving areaSupport cycle counts and physical inventories and assist with resolving inventory discrepanciesParticipate in hiring, onboarding, scheduling, training, and performance management of receiving employeesTrack and report receiving performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracyServe as a point of contact for vendors, carriers, and purchasing regarding receiving issuesPerform additional duties as assigned by managementWhat We're Looking ForHigh school diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or a related field is a plus3–5 years of warehouse or receiving experience1–2 years of supervisory or team lead experience preferredExperience using a WMS or inventory management system requiredForklift certification required or ability to obtain certification promptlyStrong leadership and team management skillsStrong problem-solving, math, and analytical abilitiesExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work effectively with vendors, carriers, and cross-functional teamsScheduleMonday–Friday | 4:00 a.m.–1:30 p.m.This position offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule with early morning hours. Schedule may occasionally vary based on shipment volume and operational needs.Work Environment & Physical RequirementsThis is an active warehouse leadership position.
