Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Insurance Claims Representative to join a clients' claims management team. This full-time, fully onsite position requires a seasoned professional with comprehensive knowledge of commercial insurance claims handling, particularly within captive insurance programs and self-insured environments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional analytical skills, strong communication abilities, and a proven track record of managing complex commercial claims from initial intake through final resolution.

Primary ResponsibilitiesClaims Management & Investigation

• Review, investigate, evaluate, and manage commercial lines claims across multiple coverage areas including Workers Compensation, General Liability, Commercial Auto, and Property
• Conduct thorough investigations including gathering statements, reviewing documentation, analyzing policy coverage, and determining liability and damages
• Manage claims from first notice of loss through closure, ensuring timely and appropriate resolution of all matters
• Establish and maintain accurate claim reserves based on thorough evaluation of exposure and potential settlement values
• Coordinate with third-party administrators, adjusters, and vendors to facilitate efficient claims processing
• Conduct site inspections and field investigations as necessary to assess damages and gather evidence
• Review and analyze medical records, police reports, incident reports, and other relevant documentation

Captive Insurance Program Administration

• Manage claims within captive insurance structures, demonstrating comprehensive understanding of captive insurance operations and regulations
• Work closely with captive managers, risk managers, and program administrators to ensure compliance with program guidelines
• Prepare detailed reports and analyses
