Programmer Analyst

Full Stack Programmer AnalystAOI is looking for a Programmer Analyst to develop and maintain full-stack software applications developed in a low-code Oracle environment. The work includes eliciting and capturing business requirements, designing and implementing efficient and effective solutions using the APEX tool suite. Troubleshooting, maintaining and modernizing existing applications. Communicating effectively with AOI and client's project leadership and other staff. The ideal candidate shall have proven track record in full-stack application. Must be proficient in SQL back ends. This individual will be required to work closely with AOI, its client's and/or any third-party staff, including subject matter and technical experts, project managers, etc. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.Key Responsibilities:Demonstrable proficiency with: SQL, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, XML, HTML5, CSS, SOAP based Web ServicesSupport the development and application of best-practices, program standards and conventionsAbility to analyze and refactor existing code to enhance performance, functionality and maintainabilityFamiliarity with all aspects of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and the ability to support all phases of the SDLC including O&M support and dispositionEnthusiasm, positive attitude, superb work ethic, attention to detail and ability to work on a variety of projects as a team player are necessaryThis position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, and time-management skillsSuccessful candidate must clear a background screenRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related scientific or technical degree; or equivalent experienceExperience/Skills:0-1 years of direct experience in application developmentPrior production support and software O&M experienceVersion control systems (SVN, Git)Preferred Skills:Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and/or APEX certificationsAgile development / DevSecOpsPrior experience working in a government settingUS work-authorizationSalary and Benefit Information:The likely salary range for this position is $50,000 - $51,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
