Master Automotive Technician | Up to $55/Hour | Two Openings

Location: Tomah, Wisconsin

Employment Type: Full-Time

Compensation: Up to $55 per flagged hour, based on experience and qualifications

Overview

A well-established automotive repair operation in Tomah, WI is hiring two Automotive Technician / Mechanics with strong diagnostic skills, quality workmanship, and the ability to consistently flag 50+ hours per week .

If you’re an experienced technician who can accurately diagnose problems, handle complex repairs, and maintain strong production, this is an opportunity to put those skills to work. Diesel experience is a plus, but is not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex electrical, drivability, and mechanical concerns.
• Perform bumper-to-bumper repairs, including engine, steering, suspension, brake, and cooling system work.
• Use scan tools, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic equipment to identify root causes accurately.
• Manage your workflow efficiently with the ability to flag 50+ hours per week while maintaining quality.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and clearly document findings and repair recommendations.
• Communicate with service advisors to support accurate estimates and timely repairs.
• Verify completed repairs and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications

• Master-level automotive diagnostic and repair capabilities.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair skills.
• Proven ability to produce efficiently without sacrificing accuracy or workmanship.
• Experience using modern scan tools, service information, and diagnostic procedures.
• Diesel diagnostic and repair experience is a plus.
• ASE certifications, including Master Technician certification, are preferred.
• Professional attitude, dependable work habits, and a commitment to teamwork.
• Valid driver’s license.

Compensation & Benefits

• Up to $55 per flagged hour , based on experience and qualifications.
• At the top rate, 50 flagged hours equals $2,750 per week .
