Job Title: Computed Tomography Technologist

Experience: 2 years of CT Tech experience - Required
License: ARRT - Required
Certifications: ARRT

Must-Have:
2 years of CT Tech experience
ARRT certification

Description:
Explain scanning procedures to patients.
Answer patient questions.
Review medical histories.
Verify physician orders.
Calibrate, warm up, and operate specialized CT scanning machinery while adhering to safety protocols.
Screen patients for contrast allergies.
Safely administer oral or intravenous (IV) contrast materials.
Correctly position patients on the scanner table.
Utilize precise radiation shielding techniques to minimize unnecessary exposure.
Review, analyze, and optimize digital files for clarity and accuracy.
Send images to radiologists for diagnostic evaluation.
Accurately maintain and update patient charts and procedural details within electronic health records and PACS systems.
Weekend availability required.
