Veterinary Medical Oncology Technician – New England Veterinary Center & Cancer Center PetVet Care Centers' New England Veterinary Center & Cancer Center is looking for a full‑time Veterinary Medical Oncology Technician to join our team in Windsor, Connecticut. Position Overview This role works in a fast‑paced specialty setting, supporting oncological patient care, client communication, and oncology medicine. Schedule Monday–Thursday, 8 am–6 pm (Full‑time) Pay Range

$24.30 – $31.90 USD

Key Responsibilities Assist the veterinarian with oncology appointments, treatments, and procedures. Safely prepare and administer chemotherapy in accordance with safety protocols. Monitor patients during treatments and provide attentive nursing care. Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, and sample collection. Process lab work and maintain accurate medical records. Educate and support clients through treatment plans and home‑care instructions. Maintain chemotherapy safety standards, including proper handling and disposal. Collaborate with team members to ensure high‑quality patient care. Qualifications Applicants must be 18 years of age or older. At least one year of Veterinary Technician experience required (CVT/LVT/RVT preferred). Previous experience in oncology or specialty medicine strongly preferred. Strong technical skills, including IV catheter placement and anesthesia monitoring. Excellent communication and client service skills.
