Quality Inspector – ManufacturingLocation: Tulsa, OK | Type: Full-Time | Pay: $24.00–$28.00/hrWe are hiring a Quality Inspector for a growing manufacturing operation in the Tulsa area. This position will work directly with production to ensure manufactured components and finished products meet established quality requirements before moving through the production process or being released for shipment. This is a hands-on shop-floor quality position, well suited to someone with previous inspection experience in a fabrication, machining, welding, or industrial manufacturing environment.Job Duties:Inspect manufactured components and completed assemblies for conformance to drawings and quality requirementsPerform receiving inspections on raw materials and purchased componentsReview blueprints, drawings, and production documentation to verify product requirementsIdentify defects, dimensional issues, material problems, and other nonconforming conditionsDocument inspection results and maintain accurate quality recordsCommunicate quality concerns to production and management when issues are identifiedAssist with the disposition and resolution of rejected or nonconforming materialsVerify required inspections and documentation are completed before product releaseMaintain organized inspection and quality documentationWork with production personnel to address recurring quality issuesRecommend improvements to inspection processes when opportunities are identifiedFollow established safety, quality, and manufacturing proceduresRequirements:3-5+ years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environmentAbility to read and understand blueprints and manufacturing drawingsExperience inspecting fabricated or manufactured componentsComfortable working directly on a production floorStrong attention to detail and ability to recognize workmanship or dimensional issuesAbility to accurately complete inspection and quality documentationBasic computer skillsGood written and verbal communication skillsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredPreferred: experience in metal fabrication, welding, machining, industrial equipment, or structural fabricationPhysical / Work Environment:Ability to work in an industrial manufacturing environmentRegular standing and walking throughout the production areaAbility to bend, kneel, and access various inspection points as neededAbility to occasionally lift or move materials weighing up to approximately 50 poundsComfortable working around fabrication equipment, machinery, and typical manufacturing noise levelsNesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
