The Security Professional will conduct unarmed foot and/or vehicle patrol (interior and/or exterior) in a hospital environment. Additional duties include control access and egress; monitor CCTV and alarm systems; compose reports; deter criminal activity and misconduct. Due to the safety sensitive nature of this role, qualified candidates must be able to submit to drug screening to the extent permissible by law. This assignment is in a healthcare facility. As such, a tuberculosis (TB) test and certain vaccinations may be required.Safety Starts Here: Hiring Phenomenal Experienced Security Officers for local Freestanding ER in Tampa!Pay Rate: $17.50 / HourFull TimeActive D license Preferred1 Year Security Experience PreferredShifts Available: Overnight shiftsResponsibilities:Observe and remain vigilant for signs of crime, disorder, hazard, and unusual activityPatrol on foot, bicycle, or via a vehicle to check for unsafe conditions, blocked entryways, security violations, mechanical problems, and unauthorized individualsOrally and physically de-escalating individuals, as neededInspect all security devices and fire control equipmentScreen members, visitors, and client employees to expedite their admittance to the facilityRespond to incidents of fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, flooding, water discharge, elevator emergency, hazardous materials, or inclement weather with calm urgencyMay also include patient escort, patient watch, provide safety escort, assist and/or transport deceased to morgueMinimum Requirements:Prior work experience involving dealing with customers, troubleshooting, and/or managing stressful situationsBe at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed rolesPossess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experienceAs a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
