The company occupies a unique position in the marketplace, serving both large corporations and smaller firms, all who rely on Nor-ell's commitment to quality and delivery.  For over 55 years, Nor-ell has been providing customers with unique, customized solutions for all their metal finishing needs.Nor-ell offers competitive pay and benefits along with a stable work environment and autonomy on the job.The Packager/Wrapper packages materials and products to be sent to the customers.The incumbent will work 8-hour shifts, Monday - Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Some overtime work may be required.Key Aspects of the JobObtain and sort product and wrap protective material around the productLine and pad crates and assemble cartons.Inspect materials, products and containers at each step of the packaging process.Record information such as weight, time and date packaged.Mark and label containers, container tags, or products.Record product, packaging and order information on specified forms.Remove completed or defective products or materials, placing them in designated areas.Seal containers or materials, using glues, fasteners, nails and hand tools.Load materials and products into package processing equipment.Clean containers, materials, supplies, or work areas, using cleaning solutions and hand tools.Here's What We're Looking for in CandidatesHigh school diploma or GED.Able to read and understand English.Able to count and do simple math (primarily addition).Able to lift up to 75 lbs.Able to tolerate high heat and humidity while doing physical activity.Have free range of motion - bending, stooping, twisting, walking, balancing.People who have allergies or are sensitive to chemicals should avoid this position.Preferred ExperiencePrevious manufacturing environment experience.
