CNA – Long Term Care

Schedule: 12-Hour Night Shift

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 6 Weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Requirements:

• Active CNA License
• BLS Certification through AHA
• Minimum of 3 years of experience
• Prior travel experience required
• Long Term Care experience required

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care and support to residents in a long-term care setting.
• Assist with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Monitor and document patients' conditions and report any changes to nursing staff.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver quality care to residents.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents.
• Engage with residents to promote mental and emotional well-being.

Compliance / Notes:

• A 7-year background check (nationwide, county court searches, FACIS3, and sex offender) is required within 18 months of the start date.
• FACIS 3 and VCIC must be completed within 30 days of start.
• All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained.
• Public transportation is NOT accessible; reliable transportation is required.
• All-season or snow tires are recommended from November to April.
• Travelers must commit to their contracted hours and may not change scheduled hours once assigned.
• Pre-planned time off must be communicated upfront; no requests for time off will be honored once the assignment begins.
