TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Portland, Oregon, 97213!

Job Title: Observation MS/Tele RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: Valid compact license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Previous charge experience preferred. Experience with cardiac telemetry required. Experience with blood product administration is needed. Experience in managing dysrhythmias is essential. Travel experience is advantageous. Description: This position requires floating between units based on skill sets. Weekend shifts are mandatory, every other weekend or every weekend. The expected patient ratio is 1:4. Candidates must have a vehicle for this assignment. Charting will be done using a specified electronic system. Key skills include central line care, interpretation of arterial blood gases, and management of cardiac drips without titration. Experience with tracheostomy care and wound care is necessary. Daily census in the unit is approximately 20 patients. The unit supports adults and geriatric patients. Interdisciplinary support includes various therapy and response teams. Travelers may be expected to float to nearby facilities if required. Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment.
