Xcaliber also features an additional administrative office in Tulsa, OK.About the RoleThe Quality Assurance (QA) Technician I plays a key role in ensuring that all cigarette products meet established quality and regulatory standards. This position supports daily laboratory and production quality activities through routine inspections, sampling, and testing. The role is ideal for someone detail-oriented who takes pride in accuracy, consistency, and maintaining high standards in a manufacturing environment.A Day In The LifeEach day begins with reviewing testing priorities and preparing for sample collection across raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods. You'll perform routine inspections and basic laboratory tests while following established procedures. Throughout the day, you'll document results, maintain organized records, and support the cleanliness and functionality of the lab. You'll work closely with your team to ensure quality standards are met and processes are followed consistently.What You Will DoPerform routine quality control testing on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goodsCollect and prepare samples in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs)Operate basic laboratory equipment and perform standard testsAccurately record and document test results in a timely mannerMaintain detailed and organized records of all testing activitiesSupport data review by ensuring accuracy and completeness of resultsAssist with calibration, operation, and basic maintenance of laboratory equipmentFollow all safety protocols and quality standardsParticipate in QA/QC programs and continuous improvement effortsMaintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory environmentCommunicate findings and escalate concerns as appropriateWhat You BringHigh school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or an associate degree in a scientific field preferred0–2 years of experience in a quality assurance or laboratory settingBasic knowledge of laboratory techniques and equipmentStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsGood written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWhy You Will Love Working HereEmployees love working at Xcaliber International because of the company's strong sense of community and its commitment to both internal and external service.
