Heating Air Conditioning Technician

Role Description The Heating Air Conditioning Technician will perform installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in a variety of customer settings. Day-to-day responsibilities include diagnosing system issues, conducting inspections, performing preventive maintenance, and completing repairs in accordance with safety and regulatory guidelines. The technician will read and interpret technical documentation, use diagnostic tools and meters, and collaborate with team members to ensure timely and effective service. The role also involves communicating findings and recommendations to customers in a clear and professional manner, maintaining accurate service records, and ensuring a clean and organized work area. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Bealeton, VA. Qualifications Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve HVAC system issues efficiently. Working knowledge of electricity and electrical systems as they relate to HVAC equipment. Experience with plumbing connections and components commonly used in heating and cooling systems. Background in preventive maintenance, including inspections, cleaning, and routine service of HVAC units. EPA certification (or eligibility and willingness to obtain) for handling refrigerants and related materials. Relevant HVAC training or certification from a technical school or accredited program preferred. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work orders. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally for on-site service work as needed. Strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and high-quality workmanship.
