Seeking a qualified CT Technologist responsible for performing computed tomography imaging procedures. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in operating relevant equipment and delivering high-quality diagnostic images. Responsibilities:
- Perform computed tomography scans ensuring optimal image quality.
- Operate CT imaging equipment in accordance with safety and procedural standards.
- Verify patient identity and explain procedures to ensure patient comfort and compliance.
- Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, findings, and patient information.
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure for patients and staff.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to ensure accurate diagnoses.
- Possess at least one year of CT Technologist experience.
- Hold a post-primary certification in computed tomography from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Licensed as a Radiology Technician Diagnostic with Injection by NYS DOH.
- Demonstrate familiarity with relevant CT equipment and protocols.
- Possess excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
- BLS certification preferred.
