Foundry Laborer

Job Summary Fulmer/Perma-Cast, a manufacturer and distributor of electric motor brush holders and a job shop for machined parts, is looking for a Foundry Laborer located at Westmoreland Industrial Park III in Export, Pennsylvania. Responsibilities Proper setup and safe operation of hot metal molds. Utilize foundry principles of metal melting, pouring, ladling, solidifying, and properly handle opening and closing of hot metal molds. Inspect work for quality and adherence to specifications. Follow Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and other safety procedures. Qualifications High school diploma or GED, or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Accuracy and responsibility required; many duties performed without close supervision. Training and/or experience using foundry hot metal molds and furnace apparatus preferred. Minimum 3-6 months on-the-job training under close supervision. Benefits Base pay: $19.00 per hour, subject to change based on training, experience, education, and other factors.
