Details\n \n Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit at a Magnet-designated teaching hospital \n 1:1 patient ratios \n Night shift, 3x12 hours (7:00 PM-7:30 AM) \n Weekend requirement unless otherwise posted \n Floating required within hospital to other ICU units \n No floating to sister hospitals \n Uses EPIC charting system \n Requirements\n \n Active WA or compact RN license (pending license accepted) \n Current BLS and ACLS certification \n Minimum 2 years of CVICU experience, open heart experience preferred \n Prior travel nursing experience required \n Proficiency with vents, IV starts, PA lines, pacers, and Swan-Ganz catheters \n Experience with Impella, IABP, and LVAD/RVAD required \n Skilled in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias \n Lung and heart transplant experience preferred \n Post-op cardiovascular experience required \n Must complete EKG telemetry compliance testing \n Additional Information\n \n Provide critical care nursing to complex cardiovascular and post-surgical cardiac patients \n Any scrub color permitted \n COVID vaccination and booster required with no exceptions \n RTO limited to 7 days in Nov/Dec, may span one holiday, must work 2 of 3 holidays \n RTO cannot be requested during the first 2 weeks of the assignment \n Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate \n First-time travelers will not be considered for this role \n Former UW Medical Center staff must have a separation period of at least 18 months before returning as a traveler \n \n \n American Traveler Job ID P-750750.
