Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) - Dermatology

We are seeking a motivated Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join an established, physician-led outpatient dermatology practice in South Texas. The provider will work collaboratively with a board-certified dermatologist and provide medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology services to patients of all ages.

Responsibilities include evaluating, diagnosing, and treating common skin, hair, and nail conditions; developing individualized treatment plans and providing patient education; performing dermatologic procedures including shave and punch biopsies, excisional biopsies, ED/C, cryotherapy, and other minor dermatologic procedures; providing medical and cosmetic dermatology services; maintaining accurate EHR documentation and following HIPAA requirements; and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

Schedule includes Monday-Friday from 7:45 AM-4:45 PM with a 1-hour lunch break and 2 Saturdays per month from 8:00 AM-12:00 PM for cosmetic and weekend patient support. No regular night or on-call requirement specified.

Qualifications include PA-C certification, active Texas Physician Assistant license, dermatology experience preferred, comfort in diagnosing and treating common dermatologic conditions, dermatologic procedure experience preferred, cosmetic dermatology experience/training a plus, and willingness to work in person in Laredo, TX.

Patient population includes all ages from pediatrics through geriatrics.
