About the Role:
Advanced Plastics Inc is looking for a skilled Machine Technician to join our growing team in Sandy, OR!  The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in industrial mechanics. This role involves analyzing, troubleshooting, and maintaining various machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and troubleshoot mechanical issues in machinery to ensure efficient operation.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on auxiliary equipment.
• Maintenance and repairs of plant facilities.
• Operate a forklift.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance machine performance.
• Uphold safety protocols and best practices while working on-site or in the field.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an industrial mechanic or similar role with a strong mechanical background.
• Proficient in analyzing mechanical systems and diagnosing issues effectively.
• Experience operating a forklift.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Manufacturing experience - 5 years preferred
• Detail oriented.
• Dependable.
