The Medical Office Scheduler (Front of House Concierge) plays a vital role in managing patient interactions and ensuring smooth front desk operations at a small, specialty medical practice integrated within a care center. This position serves as the primary point of contact for patients, handling appointment scheduling, check-ins, and communication while providing exceptional customer service. Reporting to the Practice Manager, the Scheduler supports the clinic's individualized care programs within PHP/IOP settings.

 

Responsibilities

• Schedule and manage patient appointments efficiently
• Conduct patient check-in and maintain accurate records
• Handle incoming phone calls and direct them appropriately
• Communicate effectively with patients regarding appointments and clinic policies
• Oversee front desk operations to ensure a welcoming environment
• Deliver friendly and professional customer service at all times

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card required
• Strong customer service skills
• Effective time management abilities
• Excellent organizational skills
