Child Care Teacher – Early Childhood Education
Pay: $16–$18 per hour (based on experience and credentials)
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday

The Learning Experience is looking for a caring and energetic Child Care Teacher to join our early childhood education team.

This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with young children and wants to be part of a supportive, professional childcare environment. You'll help children learn through play, develop new skills, build friendships, and feel safe and confident throughout their day.

What You'll Do

• Create a warm, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children

• Lead and support age-appropriate learning and play activities

• Encourage language, cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development

• Guide children through meals, rest time, outdoor play, toileting/diapering, and classroom transitions

• Provide positive guidance and attentive supervision

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom

• Build positive relationships with children and families

• Work collaboratively with fellow teachers and center leadership

• Follow applicable childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Previous experience in a daycare, preschool, childcare center, or early childhood setting preferred

• CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework is a plus

• Patient, dependable, energetic, and team-oriented

• Strong communication skills

• Must meet applicable state childcare licensing requirements
