Landscaping Crew LeaderAs a Landscaping Crew Leader you will be responsible for overseeing and working alongside the landscaping crew to complete commercial landscaping tasks safely, efficiently, and with high quality. This role includes guiding, training, and supporting crew members while ensuring all work meets company standards and safety guidelines. You will work closely with the Account Manager to meet customer expectations.Key Responsibilities:Follow all company safety policies and proceduresLead by example in using landscaping equipment safely and correctlyOperate and maintain zero-turn mowers and other landscaping toolsPerform and oversee mowing, trimming, edging, blowing, and weedingMaintain clean and organized flower beds and job sitesInstall plants, mulch, flowers, and hardscape materialsInspect and report equipment issues promptlyPick up and deliver landscaping materials as neededEnsure the crew clocks in and out at each job site correctlyCommunicate clearly with the Account Manager about project updates or issuesProvide suggestions to improve landscaping tasks and crew efficiencyHelp plan and schedule property visits with the Account ManagerAttend required safety and training meetingsSupport and guide the crew to deliver high-quality serviceWhat We're Looking For:English/Spanish bilingual strongly preferred.Minimum 2 years of commercial or residential landscaping experienceAt least 1 year of experience leading a landscaping crewA valid driver's license with a clean driving record is preferredAbility to work independently or as part of a team.Reliable and shows up to work on timeFollow health and safety guidelines.Good communication skills and willing to learn new skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and jobs efficientlyStrong time management skills and ability to work independentlyWillingness to learn new landscaping techniques and safety practicesAble to follow written and verbal instructionsConfident leader who motivates and guides the teamBasic knowledge of Outlook email systemWork Environment:Work is performed outdoors in all weather conditionsRegular use of landscaping tools and equipmentTypical workdays are 8 to 10 hoursMust be able to stand, walk, sit, bend, reach, climb, and balance as neededMust be able to use hands to operate tools and equipmentMust be able to see clearly up close and at a distance (with or without corrective lenses)May need to lift or move items weighing 25–50 poundsAbout DTK Landscaping:DTK Landscaping specializes in transforming landscapes for a diverse Houston-based clientele, delivering custom solutions that elevate outdoor spaces and enrich environments.Our mission is to nurture indoor and outdoor spaces, prioritize care for our employees, customers, and the environment, all for the glory of God.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and welcome applicants from all backgrounds.
