Food Service Worker

Job Description Prepare and mix ingredients for cold dishes and beverages. Make toast, prepare short‑order foods on grill and fried foods. Assemble food for patients and serve employees, visitors, and students. Serve customers in the hospital cafeteria. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent or food prep experience. Food preparation vocational training preferred. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers. Ability to read and write simple sentences and carry out verbal instructions. Requires full range of body motion; prolonged standing; frequent bending, stooping, stretching, manual dexterity, eye‑hand coordination, pushing carts on carpeting, and riding one elevator. May require lifting up to 50 pounds. Ability to work with others in a stressful work environment.
