Food Service Worker
Provides nutritious and appealing meals to students, teachers, other school personnel, and visitors. Essential duties include observing and promoting safe work practices, preparing food according to standardized recipes, planning food production, managing steam-table pans, transferring supplies and equipment, storing food properly, serving food courteously, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and adhering to sanitary techniques. Must follow oral and written directions, get along well with others, and meet physical requirements including standing for extended periods, lifting 50 pounds, and having physical agility. Supervision received from the Director of Food Services or Cafeteria Manager.
