Headlight improves upon this with an 81% attendance rate, indicating effective initial engagement strategies.Roles and ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and treat mental health and emotional disordersWork a hybrid model, Minimum of 3 or 4 days per week in office, depending on locationOffer individual and group therapy to patientsPrescribe and monitor medications when necessaryMaintain detailed records of patient visits and progressAssist in the development of individualized treatment plansCollaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient continuity of careEducate patients and families about mental health and emotional disordersParticipate in community outreach and educationQualificationsMinimum requirement of 12 months of experience post licensure in a psychiatric clinical settingMaster's degree in Nursing, with a specialty in Psychiatric NursingBoard Certification via ANCC or AANPValid state licensure as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (based on clinic location)Active DEA in the state your prescribing (based on clinic location)Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus, but not requiredKnowledge of mental health and emotional disordersExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAble to work as part of a teamElectronic Health Record (EHR) Proficiency: Must have demonstrated experience in utilizing electronic health record systems efficiently to manage patient data, document clinical information, and access patient histories. Familiarity with NextGen is highly desirable.Computer Skills: Strong computer literacy with proficiency in a range of software applications including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations.
