About the Role As a Maintenance Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the maintenance team and working with teams cross‑functionally to ensure that production runs smoothly. This is a hands‑on role that will require a consistent floor presence, proven leadership ability in a manufacturing environment, and an ability to create and follow maintenance plans. What You’ll Do Direct and develop a high performing maintenance team by creating and owning the daily plans Oversee technicians and machinists to ensure that maintenance activities are being executed Coordinate repair projects, preventative maintenance, and tool room projects Align maintenance activities with operational priorities Partner with engineering to evaluate machine health data Drive continuous improvement through cost‑effective, data‑informed solutions to recurring equipment issues Compile and communicate maintenance performance metrics to support informed decision making Manage maintenance vendor relationships, pricing, scheduling, and invoices What You’ll Bring A heavy industrial manufacturing background Hands‑on knowledge of industrial mechanical systems, electrical systems, motors, and VFDs PLC fundamentals (I/O, interlocks, sequencing) and controls troubleshooting ability Working knowledge of pneumatic/hydraulic systems, pumps, and actuators Ability to integrate mechanical, electrical, controls, and process systems reliably Comfortable working with legacy equipment and incomplete documentation (experience modernizing legacy industrial equipment a plus) A strong track record of proven leadership ability A willingness to provide a strong floor presence and urgency Ability to track and communicate practical maintenance data Why CMP?
