Duties

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises using CCTV surveillance systems and physical patrols to detect suspicious activity or security breaches.
• Manage access control systems to verify identities and authorize entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations by following established procedures, including fire safety protocols, first aid administration, AED operation, and emergency response coordination.
• Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or unusual occurrences with clarity and accuracy.
• Perform background checks on new employees or contractors as part of the onboarding process to ensure compliance with security standards.
• Operate security equipment such as surveillance tools to safeguard property and personnel.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in security roles or military service with a strong understanding of physical security practices.
• Certifications in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and Taser use are highly desirable.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting when required for equipment or incident management.
• Familiarity with access control systems, CCTV monitoring, incident report writing, and emergency response procedures.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people.
• Demonstrated capability in conflict de-escalation, conflict management, and adherence to security regulations.
• Physical fitness to stand for extended periods, patrol large areas confidently, and perform necessary heavy lifting tasks safely.
