What You ll Do:

• Provide outpatient and inpatient oncology care for adult and geriatric patients
• Participate in multidisciplinary tumor board meetings
• Manage blood bank and bone marrow transplant coordination as applicable
• Order diagnostics, imaging, and treatments for oncology patients
• Prescribe chemotherapy and other treatment regimens
• Collaborate with a team of oncologists, APPs, and support staff
• Provide consults and follow-ups in outpatient and hospital settings

What You Need:
Required:

• South Carolina medical license (or willingness to obtain)
• Board Certified in Oncology or related specialty
• 2+ years in oncology practice
• Experience with chemotherapy administration and hematology

Preferred:

• Experience with bone marrow transplants
• Involvement in tumor boards
• Strong communication skills

About the Assignment:
This position is with a reputable, free-standing cancer center in Greenville, SC, specializing in adult and geriatric oncology care 65% hematology, 35% oncology. The practice involves a collaborative team of 7 physicians and 6 advanced practice providers, with no call during the locum period. The role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to patient care with flexible scheduling and comprehensive support. Estimated credentialing timeframe is 60 days; facility covers travel expenses including flight, hotel, rental car, and mileage.
