Under the direct supervision of the supervisor, technologist provides radiologic care to patients by performing Cat Scan exams for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment while performing high quality images for interpretation by the radiologist.

Recruitment requirements:

• Graduate of a two year A.M.A. approved school of radiologic technology
• A.R.R.T. (American Registry Radiologic Technology) certification
• New graduates - 1 year from hire to pass CT boards
• Formal cross sectional anatomy education preferred
• CPR certified
• Basic knowledge of computers preferred
• One hour of annual stroke education

License and regulatory requirements:

• A.R.R.T. certifications
• Must maintain 24 CEU's every two (2) years
• Stroke education: (1) hour annually
