About the Position

We are seeking a dedicated Obstetrician-Gynecologist for an engaging 60-day assignment in Oregon. This role involves a commitment of one week per month, covering 24-hour call shifts from Monday to Friday, including weekends. The Physician will provide comprehensive inpatient care, managing a wide range of obstetric cases including low and high-risk pregnancies, routine and complicated deliveries, c-sections, and laceration repairs.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Manage low risk pregnancy cases
• Manage high risk pregnancy cases
• Perform FHR interpretation - NST/CST/FSE
• Conduct routine deliveries
• Perform vaginal deliveries
• Utilize low forceps for deliveries
• Make decisions for c-sections
• Handle complicated deliveries
• Perform c-sections
• Manage breech deliveries
• Oversee multiple births
• Address abruptions
• Perform VBACs
• Repair 3rd and 4th degree lacerations

Additional Information

• Required Board Certifications: Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Other Required Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• EMR: Epic
• Practice Setting: Inpatient
• Call Schedule: Inhouse Call, 24-hour shifts Monday-Friday and weekends. Any locums request will be a minimum of three 24-hour call shifts.
• Patients Per Day: 3
• LOA: 60 Days
• Staffing Mix: Nurse Supervisor, RNs, MAs, Check-In and Check Out staff
