Hope Recovers Behavioral Healthcare Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Telehealth Mental Health Counselor to join our dynamic team. This full-time role is fully remote, allowing you to provide essential mental health services from the comfort of your own home. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will play a vital role in addressing the mental health crisis affecting today’s youth, including rising rates of depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance use disorders.

Work Environment\nThis role is situated in a fully remote setting, allowing you the flexibility to maintain a healthy work-life balance while providing critical support to our clients. You will utilize telehealth platforms to reach young people who may face geographical and financial barriers to traditional treatment options. Our Operations team handles all administrative tasks, enabling you to devote your time and energy to delivering high-quality mental health care.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct comprehensive virtual assessments to evaluate the mental health and substance abuse history of clients. \n
- Facilitate engaging individual therapy and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to each client’s needs. \n
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams to ensure an integrated care approach, discussing treatment progress and strategizing for enhanced patient outcomes. \n
- Educate and involve the families of clients in the recovery process, providing them with resources and support to foster a collaborative healing environment. \n
- Maintain meticulous and accurate records in adherence to state regulations and organizational standards, ensuring confidentiality and compliance. \n
In this role, you will primarily serve adolescents and young adults who are navigating complex mental health challenges. You will be working with individuals who are often in urgent need of support, helping them develop coping strategies and resilience amid the distress arising from mental health issues. The diverse backgrounds of our clients require an empathetic and culturally competent approach to care that validates their experiences and fosters recovery.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology is required. \n
- Active state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or a Doctorate in Psychology (PsyD). \n
- Proficiency in providing telehealth therapy specifically tailored to the adolescent and young adult demographic. \n
- Strong capability to navigate technology platforms, including Google suite and electronic health records (EHRs). \n
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a commitment to clear and professional interaction. \n
- A neat and professional presentation at all times, reflecting the values of our organization. \n
- Understanding of and adherence to best practices regarding patient confidentiality and privacy protocols. \n

- 2-3 years’ experience delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions, preferably within a remote setting. \n
- Experience in specific evidence-based treatment frameworks utilized in our care pathways, or willingness to engage in further training. \n
- Demonstrated ability to build warm and empathetic relationships with clients, facilitating a trusting therapeutic alliance. \n
- A reliable internet connection and a private work space conducive to maintaining confidentiality during client sessions. \n
The anticipated salary for this role ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000 per year , commensurate with relevant experience and qualifications.
